One last thing, that Aperture uses that Black Mesa doesn't is an energy pellet, i would assume the Combine adapted them for use in their pulse rifles but i might be wrong. Aperture even have a special set of sentries which are very similar to the ones the HECU and Combine use, when they're knocked over they don't work anymore. I'd go with Black Mesa, just because, its were all the shit happens. Moonrock can be found in a gel form or as a tile or plate on the walls, floors and ceilings of the test chamgers, aswell as the white gell there are the blue and orange, these gels can be removed with a bit of water. Not to mention the Portal gun needs a white surface to place a portal, most likely made out of moonrock. They have long fall boots, their own version if the displacer cannon called the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device or Portal gun, with a differences, such as the portal gun is 2-way and it does teleport subjects directly, not to mention if it teleports any other subjects other than the user it doesn't kill said subject(s).
